Anangu & Culture

Anangu are the traditional owners of Uluru-Kata Tjuta and the surrounding land. You're invited to form a connection with this land and learn about their culture, traditions, art and language.

Anangu life revolves around the Tjukurpa (sometimes wrongly referred to as the Dreamtime). To the Aboriginal people, this is the ancestral period of when the world was being formed. Tjukurpa is the basis of all Anangu knowledge and connects everything in life.
