About Uluru & Kata Tjuta
Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park expands across more than 327,414 acres of Australia’s desert outback and is home to two iconic rock formations. Uluru stands 348 m tall and is 9.4km circumference and the highest of the 36 domes of Kata Tjuta is 546m high.
Opening Hours & Entry
The Park is open 365 days of the year, from 5am to 9pm (subject to seasonal change). The entry fee for the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park is $25, and is valid for three consecutive days. Park passes can be purchased online.

Can I climb Uluru?
No, On 26 October 2019, a significant date marking the 34th anniversary of the Uluru hand-back, the climb was officially closed and the chain has been removed.
Cultural Centre
