Both Jetstar and Virgin Australia fly daily directly into Ayers Rock Airport from Sydney. Jetstar has a 4 weekly return service from Melbourne Tullamarine into Ayers Rock Airport. Qantas operates daily flights to Ayers Rock Airport from Sydney and Melbourne via Alice Springs, a daily direct flight from Cairns, as well as twice weekly direct flights from Darwin and Adelaide.

All three airlines offer connecting flights from most capital cities to Ayers Rock Airport.

International guests may like to consider a Qantas Aussie AirPass for a more convenient way to include Ayers Rock (Uluru) in their itinerary.

Alice Springs to Ayers Rock Resort is a 1 hour flight or a 4.5 hour drive (450kms).

Airport Transfers

Complimentary return coach transfers are provided for all Ayers Rock Resort hotel guests arriving into and departing from Ayers Rock Airport on scheduled Qantas, Virgin Australia and Jetstar flights. Bookings are not required for this service. On arrival, after collecting your luggage follow the courtesy hotel transfers signs and make your way outside the terminal and board the waiting AAT Kings coaches.

Return transfers to the airport depart from outside your hotel approximately 2 hours prior to the scheduled flight departure times, please check with reception for exact departure times.

Limousine Airport Transfers

Ayers Rock Airport, Yulara (Connellan Airport)

Ayers Rock Airport is conveniently located just six kilometres from Voyages Ayers Rock Resort (10 minutes travel). The airport services both fixed and rotary winged aircraft and receives up to on average 350,000 - 400,000 commercial passengers per year. It's also a popular stopping off point for private pilots and passengers travelling in their own aircraft.
