3 Day/2 Night Uluru Budget Itinerary
Discover the Australian outback on a budget in 2 nights. Get up close to the ancient monolith of Uluru. Rather than walk you will Segway around Uluru, your guide will share cultural stories and history of Uluru. This package also includes a Field of Light Pass and various Indigenous guest activities will provide you with memories to last a lifetime. This itinerary is designed for those wanting a budget adventure, yet still tick off the must-do experiences.

Day 1
Welcome to the Red Centre. This humble place provides the perfect setting for an adventurous experience. Start your trip by exploring some of the Indigenous activities on offer at the Resort. Tonight, experience the magical Field of Light as you walk among its 50,000 soft shimmering lights.
1300 : Airport Transfer and Check in
Take the 10 minute courtesy Airport transfer and check into your hotel. When you arrive your room may not be ready yet, you can store your bag with the reception/porter.

15:00 - 15:45 : Ecology & Museum Tour
A great introduction to the area's history, culture, geology and wildlife; the Ecology & Museum Tour held at 3pm daily in Wintjiri museum.

1600 - 1700 : Explore The Resort
Head over to Imalung lookout for your first glimpses of Uluru and Kata Tjuta. Make your way to Resort Town Square or Wintjiri Arts & Museum to view works from 'Artists in Residence' program.
1 hour 15 mins after sunset : Field of Light Pass
As darkness envelopes Uluru, the Field of Light illuminates. Witness 50,000 frosted-glass spheres gently light up the desert.

Day 2
Begin your day with a guided Uluru Sunrise and Segway tour around the entire base of Uluru. Back at the Resort join more of the free Indigenous guided activities. Jump on the Hop On Hop Off transfer to Uluru, explore at your own pace and watch the sun set on another magnificent day in the Outback.
1 hour prior to sunrise : Segway Sunrise
1100 - 1130 : Bush Yarn
Become captivated by the yarns told by an Indigenous storyteller about Aboriginal history, culture and traditional techniques used on the land.

1200 : Lunch at Leisure [pay as you go]
Head over to Town Square, and enjoy lunch at Kulata Academy Café, staffed by trainees from the National Indigenous Training Academy.
1300 - 1345 : Bush Food Experience
afternoon : Uluru Return Transfer
Take a late afternoon transfer with Uluru Hop On Hop Off, spend some time exploring at your own pace, before watching the sunset. This return transfer allows you to enter the Park once.

Day 3
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel. Take the time to walk to the heart of the Resort to Imalung Lookout before you leave to capture those last glimpse of Uluru and Kata Tjuta from a distance.

0845 - 0930 : Garden Walk at Desert Gardens Hotel
Meet with your Indigenous guide who will take you on a journey around the magnificent desert gardens, bursting with stunning local flora. Learn about the intricacies of an outback garden.

1000 : Check out of your hotel
Refresh and check out of your hotel. Before you leave, be sure to check out the many art galleries across the Resort, and purchase a souvenir to take home with you.

2 hours before flights : Complimentary airport transfer
Coach transfers depart from your hotel approximately 2 hours before scheduled flight times. Check flight & transfer pick-up schedules on display in the lobby of your hotel.
