Drive through the sand hill country towards Kings Canyon, stopping at Kings Creek Station for a delicious cooked breakfast including bacon & eggs, baked beans and toast with coffee, tea and juice.

Continue on to Watarrka National Park where you can make the rocky climb with your Guide to the rim of Kings Canyon. The Rim Walk begins with a challenging 500-step climb. Upon reaching the summit, marvel at the breathtaking views of Watarrka National Park and into the canyon itself before descending into the green oasis of the 'Garden of Eden'. The 6km Rim Walk is a strenuous and exposed walk, only suitable for those of above average fitness.

For an easier walk suitable for all ages and fitness levels, explore the boulder-strewn canyon floor on the Kings Creek Bed Walk.Learn about the geology, flora, fauna and history of the area from your experienced Guide. This walk is much shorter and takes approximately 1 hour, which leaves you time for a dip in the pool at Kings Canyon Resort or a Helicopter Flight over Kings Canyon (own expense)

After lunch (own expense) your transfer will take you back to Ayers Rock Resort.

The 6km Kings Canyon Rim Walk may take up to 3 hours to complete and is for those with a good level of fitness. Along the way visit the Garden of Eden, a green oasis deep inside the Canyon.

After lunch (own expense) you travel to Alice Springs.

You will travel through the beautiful desert landscape from Uluṟu to Kings Canyon.

Your experienced driver guide will share the local history and stories on the many sacred sites along the way.

As you pass through Curtin Springs, marvel at Mount Conner from a distance. This flat-topped mountain is often mistaken for Uluru.

Your driver guide will provide informative commentary about the surrounding cattle stations before arriving at Kings Canyon Resort. Finish the day off with a view of sunset behind Carmichael Crag.

Travel from Kings Canyon Resort to Ayers Rock Resort in air-conditioned coach while enjoying the great Australian outback. The 320km journey will take approximately 4 hours.

Your driver guide will point out key landmarks while sharing the geographical history and local stories of the many sacred sites you'll pass.

Along the way, marvel at Mount Conner from a distance. This table top sandstone capped mountain stands 300 meters tall and is often mistaken for Uluṟu.

Transfer departs daily. Pick-up from the service station at Kings Canyon Resort. Drop-off at your Ayers Rock Resort accommodation.
